Our deeply nourishing scrub contains the greenest and most prestigious Matcha green, which delivers an indulgent, gentle exfoliation that penetrates and deeply nourishes the skin. The fine sugar grains blended with the matcha tea, which makes this the perfect product to detox the body and leave it feeling re-energised, smooth and hydrated.

Why sugar.

Sugar is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the environment into the skin. Using sugar to exfoliate the skin can help hydrate your skin and keep moisture within. Sugar is also a natural source of glycolic acid (AHA) that penetrates the skin and breaks down the “glue” that bonds skin cells, encouraging cell turnover and generating fresher, younger-looking skin. Glycolic acid is typically used to treat sun-damaged and aging skin.

Using a sugar scrub rather than salt is a good choice if your skin is extremely sensitive or find salt scrub a little uncomfortable.
